Heavy Rotation - November 2024

Another interesting month, in the wake of 2 amazing months, September and October
I've listened to lots of the albums I already mentioned in the past articles, but in this one, I will mention only the ones I didn't. And again, lots of new releases.

Let's start with the new solo album by Kiko Loureiro - Theory of Mind, musically amazing but honestly I found it a little too "heavy" for me in some parts. No Hill for a Climber is the usual good album by Neal Morse (his second, in 2024) with lots of amazing moments but I find it overall a little too long (the opener is 20 minutes long and the last song is 30!). The new Marylin Manson, which I find good but I prefer the vibes of the first part of his career. But I appreciate the fact that One Assassination Under God part 1 reflects more of a middle-aged man, resulting sincere and not pretentious or fake.

The newly remastered Tygers of Pan Tang, Animal Instinct (It's a very good album, I don't know the band really well and I thought it was a new release), and the newly remixed first Queen album, which sounds very fresh (great job on the drums!) and with the song Mad The Swine added (previously released only as a single. A good live album by Alice Cooper, one of the millions of greatest hits by HIM, one of my favourite albums to listen to while driving. Also, I discovered a sort of Eddie Vedder compilation, The Calm Cuts, also good when driving back home after an energetic gig.
