Rock 'n roll starts with a nice drum roll and a very nice and pure rock riff (makes sense, giving the title...). During the verse there is a very nice bass on the background, very well played. The atmosphere of the song reminds me of some Tenacious D for his combination of styles. The highlight of the song for me is the part around minute 1, a sort of bridge, very open and very melodic.
The song is overall very well written, played, with a good sound and with all the instruments very distinguishable. Also very fun to listen to. Give it a go through the YouTube player below and follow Jesse Grossi if you like what you hear.
