The band's trip began in New Zealand and ended in Lucerne, Switzerland, after a year with singer and guitarist Kieran Jones. After nearly four years of silence, Carson is back with a brand new album, The Wilful Pursuit of Ignorance, which will be released in April. Carson will join the Swedish rock band Siena Root on their German tour shortly after the album's release.
