Growing up in a little country community about two hours south of Chicago, Joe Hermes found his love for music. At family reunions, he recalls playing air guitar and singing along to Bon Jovi songs, which many people still remember. Joe and his siblings were raised in a close-knit family where his father taught them business and his mother instilled faith and compassion in them.
Later that year, Joe opened for a number of country music headliners, including Craig Campbell and Kinsey Rose from The Voice. At the McLean County Fair in Illinois, he also got to show off his more edgier side by opening for rock n' roll bands Black Stone Cherry and Head East.
Joe's most recent single, "Whiskey Fixer Upper," was released on May 20, 2022 (written and produced by hit songwriter Dan Couch and Grammy-winner Dale Oliver). The song is very catchy, in between classic rock and Americana, it's a got great and vigorous sound, great guitars, and it's amazingly performed by Joe. Check out the fantastic guitar solo as well, click on the song (link below) and follow him on social media.
