Keith and Stu Xander were discovered on YouTube by former Gibson Brands CEO Henry Juszkiewicz, and the band's subsequent performances for the company at numerous international events from LA to Dubai drew the attention of not only an ever-growing fan base but also industry legends such as Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, Rolling Stones) and Rick Allen (Def Leppard).
They are not new to Given To Rock as we have seen their previous single, called We cry (click here in case you missed it) Now it's the turn of their new one, Heart stop. The song has a great pace, great guitars and a catchy chorus. Talking about guitars, you can hear many different layers and influences: I find the riffing 70s-oriented (with some hints of Black Sabbath) and the guitar solo (check it out!) more on the blues side. The song, apart from the spot-on performance, has a great sound too.
