Black Stone Brewers - Cut the Cord

From Perth, Western Australia, is the alternative rock group Black Stone Brewers. This band began in June 2020 with the addition of Simon on bass and Stefan on lead guitars until his departure in December 2021. The initial members of the previous ensemble were Blair, Jonathan, and Rob. In April 2022, Luke was introduced as the new main guitarist for the Brewers.

The group entered the recording studio in May 2022 to begin work on their debut EP with producer Matthew Templeman (Voyager, Birds of Tokyo, Sly Withers). The EP, which is scheduled for release in early 2023, will be preceded by two singles: "Cut the Cord," which was released in late July, and a second song, which was published in late November. The EP and singles will both be published simultaneously, with the single/EP launch taking place at some of Perth's most prestigious live music venues.

What I like about the new single "Cut the Cord," is the groove, the guitar riffs, the inspired rhythm section, the arrangement and the catchy melody lines with clean vocals but very intense. The production is spot on as well as the performance of the band. I totally recommend the song.
