The Blackwall - The Devil's Discord

The Blackwall are two childhood friends with a shared love of music who created the band on Halloween of 2019 in the Blackwall district of East London. a want to use heavy rock music to convey eerie melodies and settings! Soon after, the group collaborated with Finnish mastermind Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Amorphis, Sentenced, Theatre Of Tragedy) to create their debut EP, which was given a Travis Smith-designed cover (Opeth, Katatonia, Riverside, Megadeth). Club Inferno Ent published "The Blackwall" in the spring of 2022, to positive reviews from the international press. To support the release of their debut LP, which is planned for the fall of 2023, the band will release singles regularly all throughout the year.

This is their new single, called The Devil's Discord. The song starts with a creepy/horror intro followed by tasty guitar riffs and a robust rhythm section. The vocals are very melodic but punchy at the same time, and the vocal lines will probably get stuck in your head. The song is amazingly performed (check out the instrumental break!) and it's got a great sound, perfect for the genre.
