Song of the day: DeVere - Like Lightning

"Like Lightning" is the new track by DeVere. Heavy, over the top, guitar shredding, vocal-masterclass of all that is pure, raw and exciting about rock-n-roll. Full of electrifying riffs and terrifying orchestral arrangements that wouldn’t be out of place in a vintage horror. The adrenaline-fueled track will surely be a live favourite of this electrifying new band. 

Lead vocalist Sammy Cassidy says; "Like Lightning" is about the questions that keep you awake at night. The questions that strike fear into your heart like bolts of lightning. Who am I? What am I doing with my life? What could I become? And suddenly, bolt upright with sweat dripping down your neck, you realise that you've been as good as dead for too long, and it's time to rise again”. 

DeVere have sold out multiple London headline shows and played to thousands at Download Festival generating an under the radar buzz amongst their newfound loyal following. Produced by the band's Brit nominated bassist Will Vaughan (Dorian Electra, James Arthur, Oliver Tree), and Charlie Russell (Wargasm, AltJ, Kasabian).
