Parts Per Million is a Boston-based indie hard rock band created by vocalist Paul McSweeney and guitarist Brian Bailey. Bassist Alex Mark and drummer David MacCaulay were also added to the line-up. The band leverages each member's individual characteristics to produce something to be experienced with a sound that combines the 90s hard rock and grunge eras while adding something rarely heard from a quartet.
This is their new single, called "
CTRL ALT DEL". The song is very interesting with lots of different atmospheres and dynamics. Shifting from "quiet" to "furious" (I love the drumming) with a pinch of Grunge (I can hear some Soundgarden), I find the song very original and amazingly performed by the trio, with a fantastic production too.
