Song of the day: The Love Robots - Riff in Peace

The Love Robots are a New Jersey-based alternative band founded in 2019 by Jon Vick and Charley Ruegger (formerly The Stereo Police; 2005–2010). After writing a few originals, Jon and Charley sought out a melodious, dependable bassist and an active drummer. During quarantine in 2020, they hired bassist Will Donaway and drummer Ross Medine. Their melodious and powerful sound is the result of a unique collaboration between four varied musical backgrounds and interests, ranging from Metallica to Coldplay, the Allman Brothers to Radiohead.

This is their new single, called "Riff in Peace". Taking inspiration from the title, the song starts with a super tasty guitar riff. The verse slows down a bit and explodes again in a very catchy chorus (great vocals!). The song features also a fantastic guitar solo and a dynamic and creative rhythm section.
