Scum Shots is a Staten Island, New York-based garage punk band. Founded in 2016 by Ricky Vega & Jamie Crispino, and joined later in 2021 by Mike Sanbeg & Nick Parisi, their music and direction have evolved throughout time, with many of their songs getting longer while maintaining the same punk attitude. They cover a wide range of styles, including punk, surf punk, garage, alternative, ska, and reggae. The band is well-known for their high-energy live performances. Their debut EP with their new lineup, "Beach Reapers," was published in September 2022, and has 60k+ listens on Spotify and is still increasing.
