SALT are an alternative post-punk pop band. They record, produce, and release all of their own stuff. They are extraordinarily prolific, leaving no genre untouched. Anything goes as long as it sounds decent. Members are Sharon Woods, Robin Woods (they are married), Simon Kettles and James King.
They have just released their new single, called "Roly Moes". The band says about the song: "It is about a father having the mishap of searching for his lost daughter, only to find her in a strip bar as a dancer. Not based on a
true story but I guess it must have happened." Also: "This tune is a wee bit dark and spooky, yet beautiful. It will grow on you, the bass line is haunting and foreboding."
