Heavy Rotation - May 2024

Here we are to tell what was in my heavy rotation during May 2024.

Lots of interesting releases this month. I gave some chances to the new Kelly Jones (Stereophonics mastermind), Inevitable Incredible, but I found it a little too melodic (or maybe should I say boring?). Slash - Orgy of the damned (a blues cover album with lots of important guests), the new (but not really new) Corey Taylor's, releasing continuously new stuff, a good return for Sebastian Bach - Child Within the Man (click here for the review), Blackberry Smoke - Be right here, and the new, quality release from Marty Friedman, Drama, with beautiful tracks and the usual class by the American guitarist.

Listening to the new Sebastian Bach, I missed Skid Row's first album so I got back to it after a very long time. Writing my personal Worst to best about Queen (click on the link in case you missed it) I listened to their masterpiece A Night at the Opera. As a CD, lately, I spin a famous album by Eagle Eye Cherry, Desireless. I'm sure you all know a couple of tracks from there and The Beatles compilation, 1.
