Roberta Faceplant - Yee Haw Stuff

Katie Feeney, the main vocalist and composer for Philadelphia-based Outlaw Americana band Roberta Faceplant, has a honky tonk hurricane voice that combines Janis Joplin's raw, rock n' roll grit with Patsy Cline's whimsical, western elegance.

The sound has captured listeners in the Northeast Corridor, with elements of southern rock, old-school country, rockabilly, and blues melding flawlessly into a melting pot of killer melodies, catchy riffs, and lyrical storytelling that is unlike anything else being done today.

Roberta Faceplant's distinct sound and fun narrative have received worldwide attention and radio play on KEXP, WXPN, Post To Wire, Lonesome Highway, and others. The band has completed their debut EP, Yee Haw Stuff, which will be published in July 2024.

This is her new single, Yee Haw Stuff, the first single from the upcoming 6-song EP of the same name. I love the pace and the mood of the song, with inspired vocals, very catchy and well performed by Roberta. The song has also a perfect sound and a peculiar arrangement (I love the rockabilly guitars), with a few genres perfectly blended together.
