The Stone Eye - High Frequency Hog

The Stone Eye, a rock band from Philadelphia, PA, recently released a new track named "High Frequency Hog". According to Stephen Burdick, the band's guitarist and vocalist, the song came together after he discovered a random riff one night before practice. He shared the riff with the rest of the band, including guitarist Jonah Etsy, bassist Jacob Mathis, and drummer Jeremiah Bertin, and they all loved it.

"High Frequency Hog" is the first song that the band completed composing with their new bassist Jacob (great performance, bass is spot on!). I love the drumming and the fuzzy guitars at the beginning of the song (reminding me of some Soundgarden's) amazingly performed by the band with inspired vocal lines (great backing vocals!). A very cool song, with a perfect sound for the genre, also. Give it a go and follow The Stone Eye on social media.
