Casino Havana - How Does It Feel?

Casino Havana, a five-piece band from Halifax, has quickly garnered a following due to its exciting live concerts, international fan base, and collaboration with Abby Road Studios.

This is their new single, "How Does It Feel?". The band explained the song: Coming home to find your partner with someone else is hard enough, but then going out to find someone else purely for revenge is worse. 'How Does It Feel?' encompasses the feeling of hurt and betrayal as an alternative indie rock song, using expressive lyrics, powerful vocals, and explosive guitar tones. From the very beginning, Casino Havana take you down a gloomy dark path of bottling up your emotions. When the chorus hits, the listener is taken back from the band exploding with all they have, a true musical rollercoaster.

 

I love the changing mood of the song, melancholy and energetic, with a powerful and catchy chorus that will get stuck in your head. The band's performance is spot on, as well as the production (I love the guitars, check out the solo!). In general, I find the song very addictive and it reminds me of Muse, in terms of vibes.
