Tess Liautaud - The Way It's Meant To Rain (Live at L.A.F.)

Composer, performer, and multi-instrumentalist, Tess Liautaud is a Franco-American artist living between Paris and New Zealand. With guitar and harmonica still in hand, she delivers her uncompromising traditional folk music to listeners in search of travel and reverie in the four corners of the world.

This is her new single “The Way It’s Meant To Rain” which captures the essence of the artist. She explores themes of transformation and resilience, carried by rich and textured musical arrangements. The song begins with gentle guitar chords, joined by a piano melody, creating an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and contemporary. The organ layers provide additional depth, while the singer's voice, as warm and expressive as ever, tells a story of renewal and acceptance.

I love the classy arrangement and the mood of the song, very enjoyable from start to finish and with catchy vocals that get stuck in your head. Definitely a quality song (and video too) with a spot-on performance by the band. Give it a go and follow Tess Liautaud on social media as well.
