Close But No Cigar is an alternative rock band from Italy. Hopes and Anger is the final tune on their new EP "A Mirror For A Blind Man". It is a modern alt-rock EP with inspiration ranging from ambient to heavy metal. They draw influence from big names in the current British alternative rock music industry, such as Nothing But Thieves, Muse, and Biffy Clyro.
I really like Hopes and Anger because it's got lots of influences inside. I can hear some very old ones like Black Sabbath but lots of stuff from the 90s too (Radiohead, above all), with some NWOBHM guitar riffs as well. This is a very cool and interesting song, amazingly performed by the band, catchy, energetic and with a great sound too.
