MAWK3 - Masterpiece

MAWK3 is an LA-based modern rock power trio known for heavy guitars, driving beats, and catchy hooks. Formed by friends Steve Giles (vocals/bass), Jason Sweeny (guitar), and Dan Nelles (drums), the band discovered their effortless chemistry when they first jammed together in the summer of 2023. 

Having played in various bands like The Secret Things and Saucy Monky, the trio finally united in a North Hollywood rehearsal room, quickly creating 30 songs in six weeks. Their band name, "Middle Aged Wrecking Krew," evolved from a playful text thread title to their official name.

MAWK3's debut album, "Bravo Zulu," featuring nine tracks, is set to release on Seraphim Records in Fall 2024. Their first single, "Supernatural," will drop in June 2024. Influenced by legends like Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam, their fiery sound connects with rock fans of any era.

This is their new single, called Masterpiece. I love the riffs and the no frills rock n' roll attitude, with simple and catchy vocals, a superb solo section and a great sound.
