Transit Cop - Something Manic

Guy Lewis, Marcus Attwood, Andy Brotherton, Paul Richards, and Russ Mulligan make up Transit Cop. They last performed as a complete band in the summer of 2007.

Their new track "Something Manic" off their upcoming EP "Shake Out Your Sorrow" is out. Following the success of their previous singles "He Brings Trouble" and "Take What You Want," which have had over 50,000 Spotify listens, "Something Manic," the third of five singles released this year, exemplifies the band's unique sound: passionate, gritty, and brutally honest.

The band commented on the song, Guy Lewis reflects on their journey, "This feels like the perfect moment. We're no longer lost in the 00s indie landfill era, drowning in a sea of guitar bands. Now, our music can cut through the smoke and feedback and finally shine the way it was always meant to."

I love the video, very well made, and the mood of the song, with catchy and intense vocals, inspired and dynamic drumming and beautiful bass lines, simple but very tasty. Quality arrangement and spot-on performance by the band. Give it a go and follow Transit Cop on social media as well.
