Barking Poets is a London-based alternative rock band that formed in 2019. Signed for Engineer Records. They released two EPs: the punky "Back to Abnormal" in 2021 and the more melodic alt-rock "Southsea Sounds" EP in 2023. They are working on their debut album with Paul Tipler at Unit 13 Studios.
This is their new single, called I Could've Been A Contender. I love the riffs, the sound, and the band's attitude, very old school and no frills. The song is energetic and catchy at the same time, with a fantastic rhythm section and great solos.
