Luke Fitzgerald is a Kansas-based multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter. Luke, who started with classical guitar, combines rock, metal, and delicate melodies to create his own unique sound. He is the mastermind behind three significant projects: his own work, the band EveriKnee, and his solo effort, Deflecting Ghosts.
Luke is back with his solo project Deflecting Ghosts and the riveting new track "Passion of the Scorned," a dark follow-up to "Lost My Mind." While his last single focused on internal conflicts with temptation, "Passion of the Scorned" takes a different approach, diving into the Devil's seductive voice and rationalising the wrongs we commit.
The song is very well written and performed, with inspired guitars and vocals. Despite the overall dark mood, I find the chorus super catchy and I feel "I want to listen to it again" every time the song ends.
