The Alien Orchestra - "Maniac!"

The Australian alternative progressive rock band, The Alien Orchestra, incorporates symphonic elements to stand out. They utilize a range of instruments from the Chinese Erhu to the baritone saxophone. The band is actively working and ready to continue their ascent with releasing a two-part EP. Their eagerly awaited single "Maniac!" from The Chemical Circus, produced by Sam Widlake and Matt Wells, was developed through a collaborative effort, merging impromptu studio sessions with detailed sound engineering. 

I love the energy, the riffs and all the little tasty details in terms of performance and production. The vocals are amazing and extremely eclectic (they remind me of Mike Patton, in some parts) and I find the song catchy and original at the same time. "Maniac!" is a quality release from every point of view, but kind of hard to describe in words.
