Beach Vultures - Pocket

Self-recorded in their rehearsal space and at home, "Pocket" is the second single from the Melbourne duo Beach Vultures. This track showcases their DIY roots and is mixed by drummer Alan McTaggart. Inspired by indie guitar icons, it features a fuzzy guitar solo in the middle that is reminiscent of Jack White's style. 

I love the grungy atmosphere and the opening riff of the song, which reminds me of The Smashing Pumpkins. The pace and drumming are dynamic, and the fuzzy, wild guitar solo is fantastic, before the melodic break. The song is enjoyable from start to finish with a great production as well, and I highly recommend it if you, like me, are a fan of the 90s.
