Stone Deaf is an indie/alt-rock formed by friends in Swansea, who played their first show in October 2023. Since then, they have made a significant impact on the Welsh music scene, and they are known for their high-energy performances and sold-out shows across South Wales.
Their new song, "Red Head," was praised on Introducing on October 26th for its "rollicking" energy and tone. Being only a year into their career, they have worked with some of the biggest names in production and have been compared to big names such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and Dirty Pretty Things.
I am impressed by the energy of the track, which captivates me from the very first second. The song excels in every aspect: sound, production, arrangement, and performance. The heavy and dynamic drumming, the "fat" guitar riffs, and the powerful vocals contribute to the overall (the chorus is very catchy).
