The Ghost Rodents are inspired by icons such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and the Foo Fighters, drawing from a complex tapestry of influences to create their unique sound. The band consists of talented
musicians Rich Picinich, David Aschenbrand, Phillip Buldo, Kevin Resendez, and Scotty "The
Body" Zillito.
Their brand new single "Since November" reflects the core of the band's artistic journey, with lead vocalist Michael Bowman describing his personal connection to the song. Bowman recorded this track at Excelcia Studios in Cranford, New Jersey, and it stands out for its genuine passion and honesty. As fans prepare for the band's impending concert on January 25, 2025, at New Old Rock Deli in New York.
The song has a slow and melodic start and the drums kick in after about 30 seconds. I love the crescendo that leads to a distorted (and extremely catchy) chorus, with very anthemic background vocals and an intense finale. The song is very 90s (at least to my ears) and it's enjoyable from start to finish, thanks to a great performance by the band and lots of different dynamics within the song.
