Ravage - Iron Dance

The heavy metal band Ravage was founded in the center of France, drawing inspiration from Iron Maiden, Guns N' Roses, and all hard rock/heavy metal from NWOBHM to 80s Glam Rock.

The quartet's piercing heavy metal and epic melodies are influenced by science fiction and futurism (Barjavel, Orwell), as well as the musicians' personal experiences and the world around them.
Ravage's first album, "Uncanny Valley," is published on November 24, 2023, following a number of shows and a few singles released between 2022 and 2023. The band will have a fantastic year in 2025. They are rumoured to be working on the sequel to their first release and should soon be returning to the Brauvau Records studio soon.

I find their song "Iron Dance" extremely interesting, as two of my favorite bands are Maiden and Guns. I notice many elements of these two bands in this song. The intro, for instance, is pure Maiden, while the vocals are very Axl Rose. The song is quite long, over eight minutes, and it features various moments and atmospheres, including a lengthy guitar in the second part of the song. This is a very cool, old-school song, amazingly performed by the band and with lots of epic moments. Give it a listen and remember to follow Ravage on social media.
