TREMONTI – The End Will Show Us How (2025)

Some reviews are really easy to write, and if you know Mark Tremonti, you know why. The End Will Show Us How is his 6th solo album. Innovation or something different than you expect? Forget about it. Quality? Yes, indeed, as usual. What I don't really understand is why Mark and Myles Kennedy (read here the review for The Art of Letting Go) record high-quality solo material that can be used for the main band Alter Bridge, the style is the same. Is it only me?

If you want to know more about this album, there is nothing really unexpected to say as all the 12 songs make absolute sense (no bad tracks at all) and they are all amazingly performed and produced by Mark and his band/staff. It's not news anymore that Mark is spot-on behind the microphone as well, so everything really makes sense.

What shall we do here, then? Well, I can tell you my preferences. I'll tell you that I prefer the potential "non-hits" the rather than the singles, here. I love the mood of Nails and Tomorrow We will fail the clean riff of Now That I've Made It, and the variety of The BottomLive in Fear, and the closing track (with synths!) All The Wicked Things. Among the singles preceding the album, probably my favourite was Just Too Much

"The End Will Show Us How" is a quality music album, and despite not offering anything new from the artist, it is extremely enjoyable in its entirety due to its variety. I can add that it is probably my favorite album by Mark, after "Dying Machine."

Rating 70/100
Top tracks: Just Too Much, Live in Fear, The Bottom.
