The band commented on their new single The Other Side (Riot X): It's about the moment after a tough time when you realize that things will get better again, whether it's after an unsuccessful relationship, an accident or some other stroke of fate. At some point you have to get up again and get on with life and learn to enjoy it again.
I love the massive riff at the song's beginning (and the guitar sound in general). The vocals follow with clean but punchy lines and the rhythm section is super solid and powerful. I love the melodic solo break as well, amazingly performed. A great song, in between Black Sabbath and Corrosion of Conformity, to my ears.
