Mike Portnoy, the drummer of Dream Theater, despite his demanding schedule with his main band and an intense reunion tour, managed to find time to collaborate on another project—this time with Last Second Chance, a duo from Los Angeles.
The band commented on the new song “Send Me A Sign”: "This track exemplifies the synergy between seasoned artistry and fresh talent, featuring soaring choruses and dynamic rhythms that invite audience sing-alongs. The collaboration bridges generations, showcasing a shared passion for revitalizing classic rock energy."
I love the chorus, anthemic and amazingly produced and arranged. A quality song from every point of view and... it gets stuck in your head, I promise that!

“As a huge fan of everything in Tim Heidecker’s Universe, I had the great pleasure of playing on the debut single (and entire upcoming EP) of Last Second Chance (featuring Axiom & Manuel of ‘On Cinema At The Cinema’) While in Tim’s Universe Axiom & Manuel may be part of his band Dekkar, they are actually two very talented musicians and songwriters who I had a blast hanging out and doing this session with last year (my drum tracks were done with them at the Foo Fighters’ 606 Studio in LA last June) "
